step 1: He is the best player in this draft. No question. Even though he doesn’t start in the NHL, and a half dozen other guys do, this is the real steal.
Step 2. Time for him to sign an extension. All of a sudden, he’s not THAT good. No, he hasn’t done enough to warrant that contract!

Dubas and his russians lul. Still hes an intriguing player and the russian system makes some solid 2-way centers and wings. Lets see but still would have preferred Schneider.

Dubas will be fired before this kid comes to play his first NHL game...probably for a different city, when the new GM gets fed up the what Dubas leftovers in the prospect cupboard.
