I don't know enough about the Pens prospect to comment on what is or isn't fair, however, this trade is just dumb. Everyone keeps saying the Leafs are weak at RHD and this takes two of them (one being their 2nd best prospect) and gives them nothing to help them win now. What is the point? Besides trolling. Yes some leaf fans still post crap about trading 4-5 roster players for other needless stuff but this is equally as needless.

B/C you need cap help more than anything right now. Which trading Holl gives u. And Liljegren, most likely, isn’t apart of your team this year either. P.O-Jospeh is a former 1st round pick and way bigger upside than Liljegren. And A.Angello is easily a depth player for your team this year. He’s 24, 6’5, 210 pounds. Right-handed shot, plays center and RW; obviously a power forward that plays in front of the net too. he has NHL experience last year.

And I doubt the Pens trade P.O-Joseph anyways. He played his 1st year in the AHL last year and played 23 minutes a game. The coaches loved him and raves about him. Put him on everything; PP and PK. They had him on their taxi squad for the play-offs. He would have played if they moved passed the 1st round. Everyone/Every article says he is NHL ready, even w/out his full man-body yet. Thats why the trade for Matheson is so confusing. He has nowhere to play now. We arnt bringing him up to sit in the press box. We would have to trade Pettersson now, who we just signed long-term, and is only 24 years old too.

Lol, good luck w/ Holl then. Id rather keep Ruhwedel as our 3rd RD and he makes 2 times less than Holl. And I definitely rather have P.O-Joseph than Liljegren. Believe me, Toronto would take that deal in a second. No way the Pens trade P.O-Joseph though. The trades not gonna happen anyways. PENS wouldn’t do it.

POJ isn't junk man. You gotta take your head out of the clouds. That's actually a fair offer considering most leafs AGMs have both of those players leaving anyways.

Why should the pens pay to acquire an overpaid 7th D? Take out POJ and the 3rd and add like a Sceviour then ok. If they truly are desperate then they take it. But I don’t think they are that desperate.

Just saying we really shoildnt trade away a position were super weak at. Don’t get me wrong, POJ is a really nice piece, but we need right defence over left defence...

I totally agree. I figured Liljegren for P.O-Joseph is not a bad return. Liljegren being young and a former 1st round pick and Right-handed D-man. Lost alittle shine as a prospect but still could get there. I think P.O-Joseph is defiantly a better prospect, and will be a better NHL defender, But them not knowing who his is, is the same as you not knowing who Liljegren is. I figured P.O-Joseph for Liljegren(yes, I’d rather have Joseph and so would the Pens organization), Amd Angello and the 3rd for Holl(yes, I believe C.Ruhwedel is just as good of a RD on the 3rd pairing and half the money) But the trade is fair and Just seeing Toronto fans all over here trying to Dump Holl, Kerfoot and Engall, I figured I’d help them out and Propose an even deal to dump some cap space for them too. But of course, half them want to dump them for anything, and the other half all think their players are gold. You have no clue who he is. Just admit it. You started off saying they tried pawning “the 2 of them off”. Yes, they are all over here trying to trade Holl and his 2M contract. And either Engvall who has a 1.3M contract or Kerfoot, there 3rd line center, who makes like 3-4M a year. Why would they pawn off a prospect who is on an entry level deal. They are trying to trade players to get cap space. That makes no sense. Really man, you have no clue what your saying. You keep just keep saying dumber and dumber sh*t.
