Was this a good signing?

Why you so upset? You literally felt the need to double reply to that lol. Take things personal much?

And Im sorry, did a Leafs fan just lecture me on cap management? The team that paid a 1st to get rid of Marleau otherwise they couldnt afford to keep their star players. The team that has 50% of their salary cap designated to 4 players and 75% of their cap to 8 players? Ok bud.. Good luck getting through 1 Playoff Round in the next 20 years.

Anyone who uses Bahaha and Sickening deserves nice response. Why you so upset?

And it would seem that the leafs are in a better cap situation than Vancouver.

Probably because Vancouver's fourth line + AHL demotions + cap penalties = $22,000,000 (26% of the cap).

How many Bracco and a 2nd for Pesce trades does it take to be laughable and sickening? 1 per day for 3 straight years maybe?

Apples to Oranges, both teams are in different stages of their cap structure. Ferland in the minors?? Maybe LTIR. Canucks just beat the defending cup champs in 6 with those players and took Vegas 7 games.. Leafs cant win a Playoff Round with that structure.

Canucks also have solid Prospects coming down the pipeline to fill spots on the cheap. Leafs cupboards are bare and depend on guys signing cheap deals, that isnt sustainable, too much roster turnover year to year.

"Leafs cupboards are bare"

Nick Robertson
Rasmus Sandin
Timothy Liljegren
Rodion Amirov
Filip Hallander
Joey Anderson
Der Arguchintsev
Mikko Lehtonen
Mikko Kokkonen
Phillip Kral
Nick Abruzzese
Mikhail Abramov
Roni Hirvonen
Yegor Korshkov

Go check some stats since you clearly know little about Toronto's prospect pool.

I won't pretend to know tons about Vancouver's.

But I'm almost certain they aren't this good.

Depth is nice, but most of these guys project to be depth players that can easily be replaced.

I'd argue the Leafs have better depth, but Vancouver has more top end skill
