Cozens+Ristolainen is probably what Chevy would want for Patrik Laine.

I don't think Buffalo is in a position to add Laine.

We have Skinner locked up long term
We have Olofsson under team control for years
We just signed Taylor Hall and both sides have talked about possibly going long term after this year.

Not sure Laine makes sense from what he brings to the table and from a financial perspective.

From Winnipegs standpoint, not sure it makes sense either as you are adding money and Ristolainen isn't good.

Value wise thats fair, but doesn't make sense for buffalo considering the other wingers we have under contract already and our hopes for Cozens

Totally agree, That's probably why Buffalo and Winnipeg don't make good trading partners when it comes to Laine.

It's the potential of Laine, not the today skill

I don’t think Laine is going to change though. He’s a one dimensional winger that doesn’t carry the play well basically a victor Olofsson.
