You do realize Andersen's cap hit is only 1 mil? the leafs pay him in a 4 mil signing bonus this year. so if he got traded we would give him his bonus and Buf would pay 1 mil.

My original point wasn't really about the actual money being paid (yes only paying 1 million in salary is quite nice) but its the cap space for buffalo. Andersen still takes up 5 million on the cap for the year despite the signing bonus stuff. I don't really see buffalo having the cap space based on what their rfas are projected to get
