Oilers are getting virtually nothing for McDavid, They would have to throw in at least 3 firsts and 2-3 2nds plus top prospects and players to fill his role. Same with Draisital but fewer picks

Virtually nothing? Was the package edited? I hate to sat it but that package is worth more than any player in the NHL.

Where are the picks? Yes, they give up Holtz, Hughes, and Hischier but that is like half of the price of McDavid and the Oilers are also giving up Koskinen. The package for McDavid should be the package for Draisaitl minus those prospects.

That’s two first overall picks. Three other first round prospects and a future number one goaltender. New Jersey would never do that. Not saying the oilers would ever trade Mcdavid though.

That is literally the devils 6 most valuable assets. I think the oilers would be better off with this package then mcdavid in the future.

As the sharks fan I’ll be over the moon for that trade as a logical hockey fan I see no reason why Edmonton would ever do that trade. At the very least we have to send back the 2021 first And Kane if not more.
