TB would likely do it, but it'd probably fall on TJ not waiving.
Although considering OTT lost Stone for Brännström, one might assume that he's highly revered in their roster.
A lot of Sens fans don't understand what they have in Brannstrom. Think Torey Krug but with fewer goals and more assists.
At age 21, Krug was heading into the AHL for a full season, age 20 was in college
At age 21, Brannstrom needs about half a season in the AHL, age 20 was 50%/50% in the AHL/NHL

IMO no Ottawa does not do this deal. Brannstrom will be better than Cernak. Plus your adding 4 years of Johnsson's contract which IMO will cost at least a 1st + one of Foote, Raddysh or Katchouk minimum. All this to say you are basically taking Johnsson's contract for 1st + 2nd while not getting full value on Brannstrom.
Brannstrom is very different than Cernak, like really really different. Brannstrom is more valuable in a trade, but both are necessary pieces of a good team.
Brannstrom is a 5'9" 180lbs offensive D and PP wizard
Cernak is a 6'3" 233lbs shutdown RD and PK mainstay

Is brannstrom right or left? I think he's a right which case he could be a good future top four on what's a bit of a weak side for Tampa
GM Dorion and coach Smith want left shot Brannstrom to enter the NHL as a LD, and in a year or two, if he wants to play the right side, it is an option.
As for the trade;
Cernak's ceiling is a 2nd pair shutdown RD
Foote's ceiling is a 2nd pair shutdown RD
I don't think Foote is the right add to this trade. Gabriel Fortier might work better, for both Ottawa and Tampa Bay, since they keep Foote.
