You don't know Nylander as well as you think you do.
He's the best fwd on the Leafs in transition, he may have cherry picked in some game you watched once, doesn't mean he's constantly doing it.
He also is on PP1. He's the net front option on the PP, which helped him lead the league in goals from in tight.
80 pt season is 100% attainable for him. He was on pace for 71 this season, and that was with Babcock trying to turn the whole team into grinders "dump and chase" hockey for first half of the season.

Yes, that’s what I said. Of course he’s one of the best Leafs in transition. He doesn’t fight for the puck in corners. Or ever try to dig out a puck on the boards. And he waits for open ice. Please man, don’t try to tell me does. I’ve seen a enough Leafs games to know that. And everyone knows that. He’s known to be of if the softest players in the NHL. And stats even prove that.
Who plays on the leafs 1st unit PP..?? Rielly at Point, Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Hyman on PP1. Sometimes Nylander. And he defiantly doesn’t play in front of the net on the PP. Nylamder won’t get 80 points in a season. Like I said, I’d be willing to bet a lot of money on that. I wish we could. I would take that bet everyday of week and twice of Sundays. And give u odds. And He’s
Not a good defender at all, he’s soft. He won’t ever gets a lot of minutes in a tight game against the other team’s top line b/c of that.
