If there is an all Canadian division please tell me why Winnipeg would help Toronto with its tight cap issues? If you want the Jets to take on Holl’s 2 million salary you are going to have to sweeten the pita whole lot more imo. Holl is not that good of a D-Man and would not be much of an upgrade for the Jets fora 6th rounder. They would be better to play their youth and develop them such as Veinola or Samberg.

A lot to pay for Kuemper...,.a first rounder for just one more year under contract than Anderson.
Giving up two NHL Dman, inexpensive and years of control for one year of Martinez makes no sense this season or in the future.
Trading the dependable Holl for nothing...craziness.

Why would AZ do this. This isnt much incentive to trade of the more underrated goalies in the league and a potential vezina winner in the near future. TO will have to add substantially.

exactly I would trade for Kuemper during the 2021 offseason. He still will have good value and if Freddie asks for to much Dubas can make the move then work on a kuemper extension (5.5 x 3) or something in 2022 or right after the trade

lul no. A 1st and Freddie for Kuemper would be more than fair. Freddies numbers were bad because he got overworked, now hes got a contract year and a capable backup to motivate him. Would not be surprised if he is in the vezina conversation.

Lehner was acquired for only a 2nd and that was with retention, Arizona getting a 1st for him would be fine as anything more would be an overpay.

Andersen and a late first is not a fair deal imo. If it were fair, dont you think Toronto would have done it by now?

no because why would they lul. 1 extra year of Kuemper does not mean losing a star goalie and a 1st pick. Freddie is a very good goalie and losing him and a 1st for 1 more year of Kuemper at 500k less really aint worth it.
