I’m fine with keeping Karlsson seeing as he’s still been close to” elite” while playing through and from injuries. If he’s healthy this year (which DW And himself said he’s 100% healthy for the first time in years) - we could see some amazing play

You could retain 50% on Karlsson and you wouldn't get just Letang in return. Forget the 1st and 2nd. With only $1M retained, NO BODY is taking Karlsson.

Kreider's been significantly more valuable than Couture over the past 2 seasons at both ends.

If Kreider is a not great contract at 29. Couture at 31 and more expensive is much worse. Trouba's 26....
