The Boldy trade seems fair on paper but I just don’t think MIN wants to give him up without a 1C coming back.

I get it, but a guy like Poehling whos ceiling is similar to a Danault for instance might be worth a lot, especially adding a first pick. And Rossi might already be that 1C in the making tbh. You usually get that kind of talent in the top 3-5, MIN got him at 9... Crazy

NSH declines. That's way too much for Tatar, or any pricey vet in the current environment (and the extension is actually a disincentive).

That's an overpay for Tatar considering Vegas is trying to move Pacioretty basically for free right now.

I'd rather just sign Hoffman for cheaper without having to give up assets.

I think saying VGK is trying to move their highest scoring forward for free is a bit of a stretch, to put it mildly.

Whats with Habs fans trading Tatar as if he were an elite top 15 forward. Youre not getting much back for him, face it. He isnt that great, he isnt elite and he is now over 30.
