No, they don't. And Florida's problem isn't the players only.

They’re definitely better but I don’t think they win a cup with that team nor do I think any GM is going to gift them those trades. Those trades really show Panther homerism.

LMAO these trades are so bad. This guy is my buddy in real life so I don’t feel bad ripping him at all. These trades are absolutely awful and no team would accept any of them tears of joy

Yeah Wild aren't touching this one.

This would be like us offering Greenway, Khovanov, Swaney and a 2nd for Huberdeau.

They are poor defensively at even strength and that's because of their system, not just the players. They added depth with cheap options like Verhaeghe, Hinostroza and Wennberg but they still need a real 2C and I'm not sure if Hornqvist+Tippett will make it up for Dadonov+Hoffman. Their forwards need to be better defensively/on the PK this season. Their D is fine but Bobrovsky needs to bounce back.

Not even near the value of Fiala. The deal starts with a 1st rounder and continues with an elite prospect (which Noel is not).

Florida declines the Detroit trade, Minnesota declines the 2nd trade. And Washington easily declines the 3rd trade.

Eller ($1,7Mx3 ret), 1st, 4th, 4th for Borgstrom (RFA rights)

What, in the name of all that is holy, is that? Borgstrom is a one dimensional C that doesn't play D, doesn't play physical, and is quite poor at faceoffs. And that one dimension, offense, isn't rally there either.

Washington counters with Eller for Borgstrom , 2nd, 3rd
or
Panik, 4th for Borgstrom
