Who'd Chicago protect over Murphy?

Greenway or Soucy over Strum from the MN pick.

I think that’s a little steep price from Tampa Bay I had a 2,5 and Ben Thomas Very similar to the deal that the lightning made with Vegas that was a a 3 5 and two years prior seventh round pick Nikita Gusev

It’s between Zadorov and Murphy. I think Zadorov will have a bounce back season in Chicago and mesh well in their system. With the youth movement going on, management would most likely rather have a 25 year old over a 27 year old. Just speculation!

I thought it was pretty steep as well. However, in a flat cap world, this trade would make sense. With Johnson being born a few miles from Seattle it would be the prefect fit.

I’m super high on Sturm. He plays a complete game and is a good skater. Could be a 3rd-4th line guy.

They wont touch Eakin! Buffalo has prospects like Borgen.
You have too many NHL contracts, dump them on LTIR for waiver purposes. Carolina wont be able to protect Bean unless they pay a 1st rounder which would mean they'd just lose a player like Foegele or Fast. It will be tough for Calgary to protect Bennett, Backlund and Mange.
I had Caleb Jones going from Edmonton as well originally but Klefbom question marks means more than likely they expose Oscar and protect Jones. Colorado wont be able to protect all their players. Burakovsky or Nuke look to be taken as its doubtful Erik Johnson waives and they wont expose Toews.

Goalies look good, those are almost set in stone, Stars and Canucks have slim pickings for skaters and both guys are cheap.

They have Seabrook and Keith with auto protect NMC. As of today, Murphy draws the short straw on being exposed. I don’t think this team is anything like what they will be at the expansion draft. I’m not saying Murphy gets traded, it might be Seabrook or Keith, or both.

To not take Cal Foote or Cernak?? I think Seattle takes the one TB doesn't protect and makes a side deal for Johnson....

TB should go 4-4 if they don't protect McD. They can protect Cernak-Foote-Hedman-Serge.

Say they protect 7 forwards and 3 defenseman which is most likely. At least I think they protect hronek, cholowski, and lindström. Maybe they protect stecher over him but thats just my thought on who they protect. One of stecher or lindström will be the odd man out.

I think Hedman, Sergy, and Cerny are all protected at this point. Foote has to make Tampa to go 4-4.

Go 4-4 Stamkos Kucherov Point Cirelli
Leaving palat Johnson killorn Gorde all very similar players but none sell jerseys like Johnson in Seattle especially when coming with a2,5 and Ben Thomas bolts best d prospect not named Foote

I think Ben Thomases ceilings a lot more than a 10 or 12 D man on the team but that aside I’ll take that second Johnson ABB 2

I meant in the expansion draft. Thomas may be better than guys taken depending on their willingness to take on cap. Offense will be scarce...
