nah the whole defensive line idea is great but they'll have to add a middle 6 forward or two by the deadline. Unless someone like Vesey breaks out

I have my eyes on Crouse and Roslovic personally. Vesey or Barabanov or NRob could also fit in the top 6 in which case we wouldn't even really need to make a move

yes but I understand why the opportunity goes to the vet first. Guys like Thornton, Vesey, Barabanov, etc. won't sign here for cheap without getting the opportunity to prove themselves, and we need those cheap depth players to keep coming. Injuries will happen and he'll get the opportunity to work his way into the lineup.

i think lethonen and dermott play bigger roles and sandin less. the forwards are def interesting and I kinda like it.

maybe. but there's kinda too many guys so I would swap around holl, dermott, bogo and lethonen and just keep sandin in the AHL for now

Not sure how playing Sandin every other game helps his development. Play Bogosian every other game as he is getting up there in age and plays a heavy game. Either play Sandin every game, or put him in the AHL.

Playing Kerfoot 4th line minutes would be an absolute waste.

Do you watch games? Or do you read @TheLeafsSeason posts on here and take them as fact. Yes, it's obvious Matthews and Tavares deserve more ice time, Thornton isn't going to get as much as he is getting up there in age as well, meaning you need another C to fill the void. Plus, Keefe has already said he is going to try Thornton on the top line, where is your 3C now?
Playing every other game doesn't allow you to develop any sort of chemistry with your d-partner/goalie, etc. Hard to develop a rhythm and learn the game if you are in the press box every other night.
It is also possible to play guys on their off side, doesn't hurt to try and re-adjust if it doesn't work.
