I’d slide the devils and oilers (maybe sens/Canucks too feel that tier should be extremely exclusive tho) down but I agree with the rest

I’m not saying that the bruins should be in either of the first two categories. Bergeron is ancient, Marchand isn’t exactly a kid. Goaltending is getting there. That said, their best player is 22. They have a guy that just lead the NHL in goals that’s 24. I would struggle to put that below the C category.

Also, I cannot remember a situation worse than the one the sharks are in. They should join arizona.

Why are the devils so high?

I agree with this, I think a lot of the teams fall into the B category. I have AAA as Sens, Avs, Rangers, Kings and Canes. The rest should be slid down into B tier.

I put Dallas at C because they have decent young forwards but on defense have Heiskanen and Klingberg. Flames have Thachuk, Johnny Hockey, Lindholm and other youngish players.

They have a could of good young players (miere, hertl, merkley, etc) which is why I didn't put them in F

Oilers have McDavid and Draisaitl which makes them an A. Two top 5 players.

Devils is a little biased but Hughes, Nico, Holtz, Bratt, Smith, Blackwood. They have a lot of underrated prospects too.

But they wont be able to pay them due to the contracts of those D.

I could see the Bruins being higher because of Pasta and McAvoy but they don't have a good prospect pool. They were almost C for me.

Sharks I could see that but they have more potential than the Yotes with players such as Meier, Hertl, Merkley, etc. But I probably will move them down cuz of their horrible contracts.

I like what the Sens have done but other then Steutzle I'm not seeing any potential game breaker types in their group of young forwards or forward prospects.

I see the argument for the oilers but the defense is still bad and need all of their top prospects to pan out to put them in that tier

I think them and the devils both have great futures but probably top end of B theirs too much disparity from the top of the top group to the bottom of it

If those are the five guys you’re listing, they shouldn’t be an A.

Ik but I feel like the real killer for them is their bad contracts. Karlsson, Burns will be bad soon, Vlasic might have the worst contract in the league, Martin Jones’ contract is also terrible and I wouldn’t be surprised if Couture starts declining soon too

Rangers should share that top spot with Colorado, LA, Ottawa in terms of futures. Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver are now. I’d personally have the Devils on the edge of whether or not they’re in the top category.

Sharks need their own tier below Arizona

Is there an argument for detroit in A tier. They have a lot of good prospects (or good ish) and in a year or 2 they will have so much cap space to work with. If they get a good goalie prospect they would be pretty set IMO.

Idk man they had a fantastic draft and some great depth options. Bordeleau looks like he couldve been a top 20 selection
