Pretty easy decline for the Jackets, they jut signed Bjorkstrand, they're not trading him.

They are giving up way too much for Laine in my opinion.

Too much for Laine. Maybe after he wins the Rocket Richard trophy they could get this for him
I think the deal is pretty fair like this Laine and Roslovic for PLB. NIce to see Freedman mention the jets in 31 thoughts about wanting PLB

Wow that's a high end robbery here. I would be hesitant to trade PLD alone for that package. The guy is the next Patrice Bergeron of this league, he's an elite 2 way center and he's much more useful than any 40goal scorer winger who does nothing much more. I'm maybe overestimating him and a Laine Dubois trade could t a adding a 2nd and Roslovic does not land you Bjorkstrand in addition.

Didn't Perrault clear waivers? I feel like at this point WInnipeg might have to be the one giving up the pick to get rid of him, especially if its giving them the cap space to sign Roslovic.

He is not the next Bergy....Unless something changes...sub 45% faceoffs, just over 50% metrics etc...He is good but for sure isnt great

Most young centerman struggle in the circle in their first years, being against experience players who knows every little details of it. I will definitly upgrade in this aera and even if he doesnt, he still have the capacity to play agaisnt and even shutdown the best centers in the league. He may not be the "next bergy", but he will definitly be in that class. It took 5 years for Couturier to be above 50%, hes now one of the best.

Yeah the Jets will have to pay to dump Perreault but that waiving of him was just a cap thing, Little will be put on LTIR tomorrow and Perreault will likely be in the lineup against Calgary.

So many of these ACGM are just a waste of time. You have to at least make an effort to understand the other teams involved in your trade ideas.

You can't trade Laine for Dubois and Bjorkstrand because you'll be a million dollars over the cap, because you can't trade Perreault to Ottawa.

Close your eyes and repeat this chant, "Perreault is not on my team, Perreault is not on my team, Perreault is not on my team", chant it over and over, until he's gone, it will work, just as well as trying to trade him to Ottawa. There's too many bodies in Ottawa already. You can't add anything to get Ottawa to take him without taking something back, and there's no one he could replace.
