Detroit wins that trade by a lot but it doesn't make sense for us to give up prospects for roster players right now.

No idea if the value on these are any good, but can the Wild keep Niederbach, really liked the kid going into the draft.

Yeah Detroit is getting the better players but it still doesn't make any sense for either team. Both GM's get fired for completely losing focus of team needs!

All the wings fans here saying Detroit wins this trade...This is why you're not the GM. This trade while fantastic in the short term is a loss for Detroit in the long term. The re-build is a long term project.

Detroit declines giving up picks and a very good prospect for a defenseman who will be a UFA and would likely walk in 2 years.

I know we're in make believe land here, but I'm pretty sure Yzerman could flip Dumba alone for almost more than he gave up...
