Forgot about Demko and honestly am not too familiar with Wolf. I just looked him up and he seems good.

If you're going all the way to 2030, I'd bet on Jesper Wallstedt making this list as well. Some scouts are ranking him top 3 in the draft (I'd say he follows a theme and goes 13th).

Pretty accurate, disagree with Vasilevskiy and not sold on Blackwood. Goalies are impossible to predict so we'll see.

He was Harts backup in Everett, then Knights backup for World Juniors the last 2 years (played the games Knight was pulled early in the tourney). He also won the WHL, CHL, and USA Hockey Goalie of the Year awards last year.

You’re correct Vasilevskiy should be #1

Considering that all he’s done is put up the same numbers since getting drafted in the 7th round and they’re predicting him as an 88, yeah, I’d say that’s a bit of bias.

That's a really bad take considering after he got drafted he then went to make team USA twice, and won 3 goalie of the year awards

I’m not saying he’s a bad goalie. I even agree he should have went higher in the draft. But if 30 teams don’t see anything that would convince them to pick him, I don’t think that 1 year is going to change that much. And while he was good this year, he was just as good in his draft year.

I think he’ll be a good NHLer, but I think saying that he’s going to be a Vezina level goalie 1 season after the draft is a bit premature.

Vezina? Who said that? All I said is OP was sleeping on him since Wolf as proven he could be legitimate. The reasons he fell in the draft were A. Height and B. He was Harts backup.

30 teams didnt see anything in Hellebuyck either for the first 5 rounds. Or Hornqvist, or Mark Stone, or Jamie Benn. Basing his success off his draft position is a flawed argument

No, he's actually lucky to have a team like Tampa in front of him. He's great but not the best G.

The reason I said Vezina is because he’s listed as an 88 overall here, and saying that that is sleeping on him is a bit crazy. If saying he’s an 88 overall is sleeping on him, does that mean he’s guaranteed to be the best goalie in the league 10 years from now? That’s all I’m saying. But I do believe he will be an NHL goalie.

Yes, but a year after he was drafted, no one thought it was a guarantee he would be a top 10 goalie in the league.
