We really, really didnt deserve to win. The first period was pretty even ish, both teams had some good chances. Second period was tilted way in vancouver's favor, freddy was the only reason we werent trailing heading into the third. Leafs stuck it to the nucks after the matthews goal.

All in all, toronto didnt deserve to win, and Vancouver should be proud of the way they played.

PS, as a goalie, I know how Holtby felt with the 2G in 11secs, thats the worst feeling on planet earth.


yes but at the same time goalie is a part of the team, and Vancouver let the Leafs take that from them in the third period. Leafs showed up in the 3rd and Vancouver didn't. But yes, they outplayed us in the first two periods

Sometimes, all you need to do is win one period to win a hockey game. thats what the leafs did.

Ron Hextall is apparently talking figures with the Penguins for their GM spot and i'm told from a source ( @GhostBear ) Hextall's first move will be to trade for Weal from Montreal

We aren’t retaining any more than the $325K that he costs against the cap right now, but the Pens can have him for free.

Bell axed the entire TSN radio stations for Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Hamilton. Leaving a bunch of people out of work, and this is after Bell received a $122 million subsidy from the Canadian government.
