Bennett cannot play 3C. He's a fourth liner on the Leafs. 13 point is his last 59 NHL games . Even in the two season prior he was less than 30 point player. Leafs need Kerfoot,

We need a 3 c that can shut other teams down, we do not need more scoring. Bennet is a far better fit at 3c then Kerf, IMHO. He is bigger and nastier.

Bennet can't shut down anyone, he isn't a shutdown player, this is just nonsense.

One of those is possible the other is ridiculous. Virtanen is more in line with Bennet, another disappointing 1st rounder while Rackell is at least good.

Bennet's value is low, plus his qualifying offer next year would be for 3.5? I think that's right...so basically if he's traded to a Canadian team he's a rental, unless you wanna pay him more money than he appears to be worth. If he's deal to an American team he'd still be a rental but for 2 weeks less. The guy should've just kept quiet and worked his ass off as a showcase for teams next year

Bennett plays sheltered 3rd line minutes, and can't score. The fact he's more physical then Kerfoot does not make him better defensively.
