This is so far from reality, I just assumed you were trying to troll. If you were not, I apologize. DeAngelo is worth MAJOR negative value and DeKeyser is still an asset, so the value is WORLDS apart, aside from the fact that Yzerman would NEVER take a cancer like DeAngelo, regardless of cost.

He has a track record and is still working back from a year off. He's not top 4 right now, but, yea, he's still worth a late round pick as a depth dman on a competing team. There is an in-between from AHLer and top 4 guy, as Balki Bartokomous would say, don't be ridiculous.

Nope not remotely interested in Tony DeAngelo, he's a locker room cancer. If he can't fit in New York there's no way he's fitting in in Detroit. besides we already have Hronek And Seider locked into our top 4 at RD DeAngelo would be to expensive contract wise for our bottom pairing. New York can keep him Yzerman know's him to well as he drafted him in Tampa. Noway i see Yzerman making this trade.

He also got rid of him. There is a big difference in drafting someone who is a kid and could still mature and knowingly taking on a cancer that has already proven they are incapable of growth.

Yes, it’s much easier to buy into a teenager being able to change and already having solid leadership in the locker room. I look at the time Avery was with the Wings as the example of players pushing problem players out. It was rumored that the players pushed the FO into getting rid of him even though he was a gym rat and tried.

Well, he probably wanted a RD and was the only sure-fire top prospect in that draft for the position, besides Ekblad. Thought he could also work out his maturity issues.

Didn't happen so he was sent off for a second. I doubt seven years later and no real improvement Yzerman is all that interested.
