Sp he would trade Jared Spurgeon who has a 7 year no movement contract, with the highest AAv in Minnesota wild history?
He would trade Jonas Brodin, who signed a 6 years no movement contract?
He would trade Fiala, or especially Kaprizov?
Your logic is just false reasoning.
If it brought back a franchise center, yes, in a heartbeat.
There is no such thing as being untouchable. There is only varying degrees of unwillingness to part with core pieces of the puzzle unless you're bringing back something that would be an even bigger cornerstone of the franchise.
They just happen to be grouped up into tiers of most important to least important.
Fiala, Kaprizov, Rossi, Brodin and Spurgeon are the uppermost tier, and are considered franchise cornerstones. Typically unmoveable unless it's except for a franchise center.
Eriksson-Ek, Dumba, Foligno, Greenway, Boldy and Addison comprise the secondary tier. They're typically only moved for high-end assets or players that would go into that franchise cornerstone category.
Anyone not in those two tiers is considered expendable and would be moved at a whim if the price was right.
