I know some people think Seattle won't want Nyquist but assuming he bounces back after his injury, he's a safe bet to get 45-50 points and has tons of playoff and leadership experience. I think Seattle would be interested.

I'm not totally sure if Vehvilanen is ready for the NHL yet, but if the team rather signed a veteran G for 1 year and played Vehvilainen/Kivlenieks/Skinner in the AHL, that would be fine too

I like JBD but he would be a must. Just because its a bad draft doesn't mean 1OA isn't valuable. Besides, Clarke would make JBD slightly more expendable

Zero chance Ottawa gives that up to move from fourth to first in this draft. Even if you change Pinto out for Formenton it still wouldn't make sense. I'm not saying that first overall isn't valuable but in a draft where there is no distinct #1 it makes more sense to keep assets and take who is available at #4, which in all likelihood could be Brandt Clarke.
