Only if the offers are good, we should at least get one piece that could become a legitimate core piece, like a Jarvis from CAR, or Quinn or a top 10 pick from BUF, and maybe a couple surrounding pieces depending on circumstances

He deserves a team he can have a real shot at winning a cup with. Where he goes is questionable, but I do believe he should go somewhere.

While I think he deserves that much and as a top end goalie SHOULD get that I don't think he WOULD. Goalies for some odd reason don't carry the value I personally think they should.

The only time I've ever seen the market return anything like this for a goalie was Miller (for less but as a rental).

Otherwise goalies just don't seem to carry the value they should. I think if you trade him you get less than the above.

Goaltenders don't command that type of package. You could probably get a haul of B+/A- prospects, and a few picks in the 1st/2nd round, but you will not get blue-chip guys like Jarvis or Quinn.

He has been pretty rough this year, we'd be trading him on reputation at this point. The CAR offer looks good. Buffalo may be desperate enough to sell the farm for him to prove to Eichel that they are trying to build him a winner.
