This season he has like 11 pts in 25 games or something like that which is pretty solid for a youngster like him on a rebuilding team.

Not a fan of either but really can’t see BUF accepting a package that doesn’t include Zegras +, and in all honesty that + probably begins with Drysdale, which is the end of the conversation. It’s not dissimilar to Eichel to COL trades that have Newhook and Byram in it. Neither team is giving up cost controlled potential 1C and 1D prospects for a $10M cap hit. To me the only way an Eichel trade happens is if LA puts a package together with Byfield because would BUF be really dumb enough to trade him to the Rangers who seem like the only other viable partner? But that’s just my opinion.
