As an oilers fan I would say no way in hell. I can see the canes fans think the same way.

I think both teams wouldn't want to do this. EDM needs good D men and Carolina is pretty loaded at D. Just doesn't make sense for either.

This and that other thing that Necas is better than Bouchard, and Kassian is an expensive 4th liner

I received an infraction for saying @PandB should delete this. I guess this is where the line is drawn for what is an infraction and what isn’t.

How about this - unless you’re sending something of significantly more value to the Canes, you shouldn’t be trying to get Necas. He’s off limits and there have been multiple reports of rumors of other teams asking for Necas and Canes declining.

Kid is 22, skates like the wind, can shoot the puck like a laser beam, makes incredible passes every night, and this year is playing a 200 foot game. Plays 17+ mins a night on one of the best teams in the league...and he has 2 years left on his ELC.

You don’t trade that away.

If Kassian is a 4th liner, what does that make Necas? Over the past 1.5 years at 5v5:

Kassian: 75, 17-20-37

I can cherry pick numbers too if you’d like - but I’d rather not waste both of our time.

Necas just turned 22, and has 22 points in 28 games this season. Kassian has more PIM than points this season and is 32.

This is why I made this everyone. Probably should have included this in the description....
