    I think so too. Isles make the most sense IMO unless they want hall instead.

    Isles, Bruins are good fits off top of my head. Wonder if this forces the Hall conversations to pick up.

    Palmieri is a better fit for the Isles imo

    I hope not. I would trade Palmieri as soon as possible before Hall gains interest

    "Also imagine thinking Kerfoot is better than Palmieri". Doesn't take much imagination if you are talking this season. Plus having waiting 5 games for the Leafs waiting to get Palmieri in the lineup. Plus Palmeiri doesn't play centre. Plus thinking the Leafs give up first rounder also.
    Let's discuss after the trade and see what the Isles get for Palmieri. Some team is going to be disappointed.

    I don't see the Isles trading one of them. They should keep depth for the playoffs and have enough cap space right now

    Your main argument for Kerfoot being better than Palmieri has the points. Therefore, JVR is better than Tavares and Tkachuk and Trochek is better than Couturier. If Kerfoot was so good, I wouldn't be seeing him in every Leafs trade offer

    But till me, how does Palmieri help the Leafs? And no really doubtful he anymore from any team in trade. Seems to be an obsession, that only the Leafs have make lateral trades and add pieces.
    Tell me a to the other 29 teams that would offer as much Kerfoot and a first.
    My real argument is the trade doesn't help the Leafs this year. A winger isn't really needed in place of a centre.
    The real reason Kerfoot is offered in so many trades is get a player of quality, similar cap has to go the other team. Nothing wrong with Kerfoot play or his 3.5m cap .
