For the info, Boston Hockey Now is not a credible source at all so I would avoid using them as reference if I were you. That being said, other credible reporters like Elliotte Friedman did say the Bruins appear to be interested by Palmieri so it makes sense.

Friedman: "There are a lot of teams out there that saying their will need to keep their first rounders....teams are trying to get 1st rounders for rentals...it will be a big challenge"

I'd be good with two quality prospects and quite honest i would pkg a first with other stuff and flip it for a position of need (topish defender, snipers for the centers). I think the team depth is great, C and G are fine IMO. Our team just needs games and some vets who can bring the youngsters along

Also idk why the ask would be Barron/Timmons + 3rd from Colorado but 1st + Sandin/Robertson/Amirov from Toronto. That just doesn’t make much sense to me considering the leafs prospects are almost unanimously ranked as better prospects.

I think I read that the devils wanted prospects rather than picks somewhere but I’m not sure. I think prospects are usually more valuable to teams anyway because they’re more of a sure thing/closer to the nhl.
