Description
Not sure how many of these trades are over/underpayments. However, I do expect some huge turnaround this summer after how horrible this season went...

Trades
1.
PHI
  1. Murphy, Connor ($1,500,000 retained)
CHI
  1. Millman, Mason
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (PHI)
  3. 2022 2nd round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
Not sure the exact value of Murphy, but given the RHD market is very thin I think it may be a little pricier than what he'd normally cost. I am not sure than any true top-pair RHD will be available this summer, and I think Murphy would be a decent partner for Provorov.
2.
PHI
I think the Kraken won't pass up an opportunity to bring in a top line winger coming off a great season, regardless of age and AAV
    3.
    PHI
    1. Gaudreau, Johnny ($3,000,000 retained)
    2. Lucic, Milan
    Additional Details:
Calgary takes advantage of bringing in some futures and getting a longer term top-6 winger while also ridding themselves of their worst contract
    CGY
    1. Voracek, Jakub
    2. Zamula, Yegor
    3. 2022 1st round pick (PHI)
    Additional Details:
Philly gets rid of their worst contract, adds toughness to the bottom-6 and higher end skill to the top-6. I honestly consider this to be a slight overpay, but I think it's a shakeup that would ultimately benefit them
    4.
    PHI
    1. 2022 5th round pick (TBL)
    Additional Details:
Philly clears a roster spot and adds a pick
    TBL
    1. Braun, Justin ($900,000 retained)
    Additional Details:
Tampa adds an experienced RHD for cheap
    5.
    PHI
    1. Glass, Cody
    Additional Details:
Glass still has a lot of potential, and Philly is going to have to try something new down the middle
    VGK
    1. Patrick, Nolan
    Additional Details:
Other than the Wheat Kings connection, Vegas take a chance on the player who has a higher ceiling
    6.
    VAN
    1. Gostisbehere, Shayne
    Additional Details:
Seems like a decent swap of two meh contracts of guys who still have high ceilings

I like the additions of both Lucic and Oleksiak, would fix the current toughness they are lacking.

Patrick doesn’t have that kind of value anymore.

By all accounts I don't see how Glass could be viewed as having accomplished much, if anything more to start his career. I think Patrick has had a disappointing enough season that I could maybe see Philly slightly adding, but ultimately I think it'd be a pretty close to even swap

Chicago would get a first for murphy at the deadline next year, assuming we don't resign him, so acquiring him during the offseason is likely as expensive or more so.

That's fair. At this point Philly is so desperate for guys who can handle a top pair role in the right side I could see them pulling the trigger on a 1st as an asking price

I think the Lightning will be content to keep signing Schenn until he's unable to provide 10 minutes of physical defense a game. No need to be shelling out picks, even late rounds, in our situations for a depth defender when we can just keep Schenn.

Fair point. Braun is actually having a quietly good season despite the teams struggles. I thought Tampa would be a good fit just based on the tight salary, but it makes sense to stand pat given how many picks they've shelled out in recent memory

Flames very very easily decline. Also they won’t be lowering gaudreaus value by adding in lucic to any gaudreau trade that’s just idiotic

I don't think it would be a bad move for either side, Murphy can fill the role that you guys need now, and he's not so old that extending him long term is going to be seen as a bad move. I wouldn't mind knowing more about what you guys would pay for him with an extension at around 5AAV... would it be this/next year's first and what other assets would you like to give and receive in a trade like this.

    Here's what I wouldn't mind.

    Philadelphia Flyers
    Connor Murphy (6yrs x5 AAV)
    2022 3rd round pick (VGK)
    2021 4th round pick (CHI)
    Chicago Blackhawks
    2021 first-round pick (PHI)
    2022 2nd round pick (PHI)
    2021 5th round pick (VGK)

In this trade, I'm looking for all futures in Chicago perspective, but I bet there could be other parts.

I think with uncertainty of the level this team would perform at next season I can't see Philly giving up a 1st and a 2022 2nd. I think a deal would be close if CHI scrapped the two late picks and Philly drops the 2nd

    Chicago Blackhawks
    2021 1st-round pick (PHI)
    2021 3rd-round pick (PHI)
    2022 5th round pick (PHI)

    Philadelphia Flyers
    Connor Murphy (6x5)
    2021 4th round pick (CHI)
    2021 7th round pick (FLA)

That should be closer, If we aren't getting a 2nd next year I want a 3rd this year. Also just seems like a trade that would be made at the draft.
