That first rounder is basically paying off CBJ to take Koskinens cap hit so in reality it’s Laine and Merziklins for Holloway, Savoie and 2nd, I doubt CBJ accepts.

CBJ says no. Koskinen is a cap dump. That costs you the 1st alone.
I don't know where you both got this logic, but it just doesn't seem true. In reality, Koskinen likely wouldn't cost a 1st to move. I agree that he doesn't have much value, but I don't think he's negative value either. He's shown at times he's capable of being at least a league average goalie that can handle some games well. He has he pretty noticeable defeats, but a lot of goalies have that. The fact that he has only 1 year left on a deal at a mid-range cap hit, doesn't really suggest it would take a 1st to move him. Here's a couple of recent examples of this:
June 22, 2019 - Toronto trades Patrick Marleau ($6.25M cap hit), a 2020 1st round pick (13th overall - Seth Jarvis), and a 2020 7th round pick (199th overall - Alexander Pashin) to Carolina for a 2020 6th round pick (177th overall - Axel Rindell). This move was a a pure cap dump. Although Marleau could still play in the league, he made it clear it would only be for San Jose and Toronto needed to clear cap space to sign Marner to his extension. Marleau was only owed $4.25M in real money ($3M signing bonus/$1,25M over last season) that Carolina paid but still had his $6.25M cap hit on their cap but bought out Marleau immediately.
September 26, 2020 - New York Rangers trade Marc Staal ($5.7M cap hit) and a 2021 2nd round pick to Detroit in exchange for "future considerations" (basically nothing). This is the definition of a cap dump. Staal play was declining and his cap hit needed to be traded to make room for numerous signings that the Rangers needed to make with RFA's. Staal was only owed $3.2M in real money as New York had already paid his $1M signing bonus, but Detroit still took on the full $5.7M cap hit in the deal.
Now we come to Koskinen. If he's moved in the offseason, he'll have 1 season left on his deal with a $4.5M cap hit and he'll be owed $4.5M as well in real money, with none of that being a signing bonus so it's paid out over the course of next season. It's also worth noting that if a team wants to buy out Koskinen, it will only cost them $1.5M in terms of cap hit and real money for 2 seasons - this actually saves them $1.5M in real money, and saves $3M in cap space in year one, but adds $1.5M in cap space in year 2. So why would someone with a lower cap hit than both of Staal and Marleau, and only $25K more in real money (if he stays on the roster and isn't bought out) cost a 1st? I doubt that he would. It's far more likely to be a prospect that a team likes because of the uncertainty of the draft and prospects for the next 2 seasons because of the pandemic.
So I'm sorry, but both these comments seem more to the "fan's view" side of things, rather than the logically thinking and how the league has worked over the last few seasons.
