As a hockey move would this make sense? Let's face it the Jets would probable never move Scheif but If there were no attachments like the Jets have to Scheifele does this make sense as a hockey move?

They'll want Perfetti, and the Jets won't do that.

This definitely does not make sense as a hockey move. Far too much to give up for two players when only one of them is needed.

Would rather have Scheifele but you can take him out and put in Dubois and 2021 1st if you have to.

100% certainty that Buffalo is on Scheifele's 10 team no trade list.

I mean Scheifele is from Kitchener Ont. Buffalo is really close to home for him. haha. I agree, Buffalo would be on any players no trade list.

If this is the best offer for Eichel he's probably gonna be stuck a sabre. The sabres already have a bunch of players nobody needs so the 1st (probably gonna be in 20's) shiefele (going into back 1/2 of career) and then add a piece or two that makes it interesting...which im not sure winnipeg has at least not without crippling your team.
Something like hellebuyck and shiefele, would you do that?

Or, trade for Eichel using Dubois, Copp, Samberg, 2021 1st and 2022 2nd

Then sign Hamilton in FA. I’m going to make a thread with that route.

I have serious doubts Hamilton would ever sign in Winnipeg. The chances of us getting a Dougie, Parayko, Pulock or other to sign here are about the same as me making the show, slim to none. Draft and develop or trade for a young guy with T4 potential are the only ways we are getting one IMO.
