wild fans will call you an idiot, but it makes sense to me. suzuki is 21. kaprizov is 24. suzuki can be better than him by the time he's 24. but this is a bad trade for mtl, as we need centers. not wingers.

Look I understand Suzuki is 2.5 years younger and he has lots of potential still, but Kaprizov went off this season. Doubt minny trades him for a player who may never be as good as KK

While Suzuki will be a good player, Kaprizov has the higher ceiling and Minnesota will not trade their new found prodigy

I think both teams decline but it's definitely easier for the Wild at this point in time.

That's one thing I agree with, Kaprizov is an electric player and will probably improve as he gets used to the NHL but it's not like he is an 18 y/o rookie lighting it up - in some trades I've heard 24 called older lol
