U do realize eichel is a Sabre right? Plus u guys are gonna rebuild would u want to loose that cap space instead of gain 3mil of getting eichel

No. Eichel. IMO we are only trading Tkachuk to 1 team if we do and thats Buffalo for Eichel

Not really the cap for those moves. But geez getting two high priced LWs with just three years of control, that seems like big price to pay by trading away all those futures.

It’s hard to accept but u 100% are u guys couldn’t even make the yofs in the easiest division
With the coaching u have there’s zero chance u guys are team that can do something

Sutter is not a coach to rebuild with. And we can't fire him because we got him mid season. How will that look to the rest of the leauge? UFA’S won't want to sign here

See how much "winning" Gaudreau and Tkachuk have done in their NHL career. A lot better options than taking on cap and giving away futures than thinking Gaudreau and Tkachyuk will lead you to the promise land.

Gaudreau would be awful on NYI, but Tkachuk would be the perfect answer to Wilson. Man, those two would go at it hard.

That being said, I'd only give up draft picks. I'm not giving up Wahlstrom or Dobson. If it takes one of them to get Tkachuk, then pass.

You see you don't get 23 year old RFA top line star talent for picks alone. You need to give to get.

I completely get that, but we're in a cap crunch and Wahlstrom and Dobson are:

1) On their ELCs
2) Promising young players with bright futures

I just would rather keep them than get Tkachuk, but it's hard to gauge how much Tkachuk would get. He's so godo.

The North division was definitely not the easiest. Calgary underachieved and will make the playoffs next year fairly easily
