Not a Rebuild

Created by: RoyBoy71
Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: May 26, 2021
Published: May 26, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The habs retool with puck-moving defensemen in Dunn and Butcher (where one or both are most likely to change destinations) and acquire a great offensive veteran presence in Miller. He also plays center if KK is struggling and has positive faceoff percentages as of late. He will play with Toffoli and KK where he had success in VAN with the former and can hopefully rejuvenate the latter. Poehling makes the jump as a winger after a big year with the Rocket.

Pass from Vancouver. Why trade a player that fits for a player who hasn’t fit anywhere he’s played.

These Kulak for Dunn trades have gotten more tired than the Mete for Dunn trades. Blues are not interested in Kulak. Either multiple picks or Brook and 2nd. They have no need for Kulak.

That Miller offer has no chance of happening.

who in their right mind would give all of that for Miller. Drouin almost offsets his offensive output to begin with. Then through in Struble a very promising young d man who is playing great in NCAA and a first. For another middle 6 forward who doesnt change the habs at all.

Then keep him . Vancouver is not giving you a top player weak offer.

Lol.
Not a rebuild.
More like an implosion.
Disgraceful to see what has become of this franchise.
Its been Carey Price for what..... seems like last 25 years.
Well since these idiots ran Patrick Roy out of town.
Its just sad and pathetic to hear people think this is a competitive roster.

Drouin has 9 goals in the last two seasons, 71 games played. Miller has 42 goals in the last two seasons, 122 games played. His goals per game is triple drouins.

In that same time, miller has 76 assists (0.62 per game) and drouin has 29 assists (0.40 per game).

Drouin doesn’t even come close to Miller’s production.

If you add Drouin and Josh Anderson’s production together from this season, the combined for 19 goals and 47 points. Miller had 15 goals and 46 points by himself.

Miller is easily the best player in this trade and a b prospect and a first 1 or 2 years from now doesn’t make up the difference. Drouin is basically a cap dump at this point

gladly idk why there would be any interest in miller from the habs. Who knows where Drouin will even be come next season since he just left.

And habs need a legit top end scorer not another middle 6 guy.

They also need a team that can score in the playoffs . Cool . We can move on from this foolish offer now.

Ya miller had a great two year stretch at 29 and 30. to think that is just going to be what he produces here on out is ridiculous. Toffoli was on pace for 41 goals this year doesnt mean he is on the same level of guys who have multiple years at 40 goals.

JT miller just turned 28 in March. These past two seasons were at age 26 and 27.

I see you’re just trolling obviously
