What intrigues me about posts like this is that they always impel me to think about what the suggested packages are really worth. For example, forget about William Nylander: would that trio get Zach Hyman?

That barely qualifies as a desperation rental price for Jones; having that as the return with him extended is a Not Going To Happen. We need either high-quality roster players or high-quality futures, and neither are present; that's just multiple decent depth players, but we have that already.

CBJ - Too much for a rental.
STL - Who is Sam Anas? And I don't think Dunn would cost a 1st. Closer to Toews price (two 2nds, maybe 2nd and 3rd). Also not a great fit with NJD.
TOR - Both sides decline. We shouldn't be selling Severson (or any d-men, really) for wingers.

I like Dunn+ for the Isles first. Jones is solid but overrated. Severson is underrated. Nylander is a stud, but because Severson is underrated you’re gonna end up over paying for him. I think Zacha and Kuok are capable of more as well

Agree to disagree. I’m not sure why so many people on this site think Severson isn’t anything special. I do agree NJ adds but “doesn’t touch”?

Severson is good. Severson does not get you close to nylander in trade value. Both can be true
