Laine had a horrendous season and you can tell he wants to win. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to a contender for a discount.

Personally I think Hamilton will resign in Carolina but it would be cool if he went to the leafs. And I wouldn't be surprised if Laine signed for cheap because of the awful season he had.

He's not good at defense, is massively overrated and is not even the best d-man on his team.

he deserves 7,25M max

" Contenders" shouldn't be used to describe TML until they win A ROUND. Period.

Imagine trading away Tavares, underpaying every single contract, having no spares on your roster, being 1.8 million over the salary cap, and STILL not putting together a team that can get out of the first round
