Your valuation on both Landeskog and Duchene is low, especially given Noah Juulsen's personal struggles since his draft year. Some but not all of the other targets make some sense, but things like Lupul, and a retread in McClement do not.

Good stuff! Some of the more realistic deals I've seen. The Toronto and Ottawa deals make the most sense to me. The landeskog one isn't too bad either. Nice work. My only negative would be that if they move both landeskog and duchene they would likely be looking for a top level forward prospect to eventually replace those guys. I guess the two 2017 1sts could be used on forwards though.

I'm an avs fan and I don't think you're necessarily over-valuing Duchene, but I don't think you'd get Chabot AND a first round pick for him. That's essentially two first round picks. Also, Iginla's contract is about to expire. The most you'd get back for him is a 4th or 5th round pick (would be lucky to get a 3rd). I like the Landeskog trade though, and the idea of loading up on picks.

Hey Lobster, can you source any of that? I've heard nothing of it. Not to mention that he made team Canada, doubt he has any personal struggles that are worth noting.

Not bad at all. Though I do think Ottawa is going to need to give up a lot more since Colorado will be taking on 4 years of a huge contract for a useless MacArthur (that's not a slight against him, but it looks like he has a very slim chance of ever playing again).

Apparently, MacArthur's contract is 80% insured. Seems like his career may be done; so I don't think it has much value. Not like Dustin Brown's contract.
