I just read a very cool Athletic article in which the authors were building an all-Avalanche teammate roster only using former teammates of the current Avalanche roster. I put the former teammate in brackets. Each Avalanche player can only be used once (otherwise Darren Helm could make an all-star roster by himself given the superteams he's been part of) and teammates on the Avalanche roster can't be used (can't use Landeskog for MacKinnon, per example). Juniors teammates can be used if the player has only played for the Avalanche in the NHL.
A. Ovechkin (A. Burakovsky) -- S. Crosby (J. Megna) -- P. Kane (D. Gilbert)
P. Kariya (E. Johnson) -- A. Matthews (N. Kadri) -- I. Kovalchuk (K. MacDermid)
A. Panarin (R. Murray) -- A. Barkov (J. MacDonald) -- J. Skinner (G. Landeskog)
J. Benn (V. Nichushkin) -- R. Getzlaf (K. Sherwood) -- B. Boeser (T. Jost)
N. Lidstrom (D. Helm) -- D. Doughty (D. Kuemper)
M. Weegar (N. MacKinnon) -- P. Subban (M. Maltsev)
A. Pelech (D. Toews) -- S. Jones (J. Compher)
P. Rinne (S. Girard)
S. Knight (A. Newhook)
I'm gonna try and create my own Canadiens version of it, see you guys in a week.
