Take out at least one of the seconds and Lizotte and it’s a much better trade for LA.

There definitely is a chance! You could squeak into that third or wild card spot, because after Vegas and Edmonton, it’s a huge drop. Also, who knows how good Seattle will be, so we will see.

Way too much for one year of Seth Jones after he has made it clear he wants to test UFA. I'd give up that package for Werenski, not for Jones.

I think the Kings should definitely make a push, every team in the Pacific outside of Vegas should use this next couple years to really push. Montreal right now is evidence that you just need to get into the dance. I wonder if it changes up Seattle's draft strategy knowing that they will be able to compete in the Pacific right away.

Think TB is looking for more like a 2nd instead of Lemieux

The deal would obviously have to come with an extension

Sure, but I'm not sure why LA would compensate Columbus for a deal that they'd negotiate.

Regardless, LA isn't really in the market for RHD. They need a LHD. Could they stand for an improvement at 2RD? Sure, but not at that cost.

I'm honestly not seeing much enticing in that Jones deal. Lots of good-but-not-great stuff, and we kind of need great.

I can't imagine investing that number of significant assets for one year of Seth Jones. If you took out the first and one of the seconds, I could bear it.
