What do you think of the Strome deal?

I don't like the idea of trading strome for another C. I think between Borgstrom, Suter, and Gaudette the hawks are set at 3C. But value wise it's close. I'd want drop the draft pick from the hawks side. Think strome has a bit more value than mittlestadt.

in what world does Makar sign an OS....just bc you think a team can prepare one doesnt mean he will sign it or the Avs wont match.
The probability of Makar singing one, him singing one the Avs wont match is basically 0

And I dont see the Hawks offering Grubauer this deal...last season they didnt want to offer Lehner a long term deal, which is why he was traded and ultimately signed with Vegas. Do you really think that Stan is going to give more AAv and Term 1 year later to Grubauer when he just could have given that to Lehner

If makar is offered 11 mil AAV he sure would sign that deal, I want to make the avs pay him a lot and not get a discount so you're screwed when Nate needs a new deal and you can't keep your top line, makar and a good goalie. Crawford was outplaying Lehner, and rather than let Lehner walk for nothing he got some value for him and left his options open with Crow at the end of the season. Also just an FYI, these avs will never be comparable to those hawks teams, the hawks didn't lose round 2 two years in a row in their prime

not every player cares about money, that is at the pit fall of any one thinking its that easy to OS any RFA. So that is a major flaw in your plan
