That's a lot of guys taking sweetheart deals, not sure all of those numbers are going to work.

Although I'm not sure that trade works, I do think they should look at moving one of Engvall or Mikheyev. Very similar skill sets and neither can generate offence, having the two of them on the third line really hurts them with the lack of scoring from that line.

Hyman prob signs with a bad team for 4x$4mm.

    Too little for Granlund.

    Perry stays with the Habs.

Out of curiosity, why no love for Engvall?

Myrtle’s article is absolutely hilarious. It’s pretty much what I’d expect to read if it was written directly from Hyman’s agent himself.

It's very doubtful that Detroit would be interested in Engvall.

How is Haula making $1m less than Bjugstad? He had a higher PPG in both the regular season and playoffs, averaged 5 minutes more of ice time, played PP and PK, and was 55% at the dot. I just don't see how he gets less than Bjugstad. And I don't see him signing for less than $2.5m anyway -- he's earned a raise.

I think Hyman gets between 5-6 million on a 6-7 year term. I see a team like Edmonton or any other team that need top line wingers to overpay severely

no love for engvall because the leafs clearly need more scoring on their lower lines, he doesn't do that. he's a good fit on other teams, just not the leafs unfortunately
