Other than 5 1sts for a guy that couldn't pass a physical right now, I like 6x9 of Skinner as a healthy scratch...

Yeah keep dreaming on that Eichel trade. BUF will be lucky to get one of Rossi or Boldy.

The Rangers, Wild, Kings, Ducks, Blue Jackets, and Flyers are in serious talks according to Pierre LeBrun.

That’s not what he said at all. He said talks are heating up and team’s he believes make sense are the ones you listed.

Yes it is. Rossi and Boldy are high end prospects still. Their value hasn’t diluted below a 1st plus the 3 actual 1st rounders.

If you look at Part 1 in this series, you see that Buffalo gets a top 5 pick from Columbus.

Neither Boldy, nor Rossi were Top 5 picks in their respective drafts.

If you think Rossi is worthy of a top 5 pick in a given draft, I can take out Boldy smile

Rossi almost died in November, he hasn't played a game since then. Boldy hasn't played 1 game in the NHL, he might be just like Middlestat, do you think Middlestat is worth a 1st rounder?

Rossi was taken at 9 and Boldy at 12. Not like they were late 20’s picks. Boldy just lit up the A after signing late.

MIN might give up one of them because they don’t have the top 5 pick but not both. The teams with the top 5 picks aren’t giving up their top prospects tho.

Wild can't make that deal for salary cap reasons alone.

It's also a giant overpay for Eichel, Sabres would be very lucky to get this in return.

If either Boldy or Rossi were in this year's draft they could very possibly be top 5 picks, this draft is not as strong as their drafts were.

Rossi would be the 1OA in this draft. Without a doubt. Boldy might be in the 3-7 range.

I've been making a series of posts under the title "Buffalos offseason with multiple teams in on Eichel".

What I'm trying to do is establish a benchmark for each team that is interested in Eichel.

Since Rossi and Boldy could be Top 5 picks in any draft, that's why I've taken out Boldy and kept Rossi smile

I've been making a series of post under the title "Buffalos offseason with multiple teams in on Eichel".

What I'm trying to do is establish a benchmark for each team that is interested in Eichel.

That's why I've taken out Boldy smile

My first point still stands, Wild can't make this deal because of their cap situation. Any Wild trade for Eichel almost has to start with Dumba and Fiala.

If Dumba or Fiala are added, what would I have to swap out?

My best guess Fiala, Dumba, Rossi and 2021 1st for Eichel but Sabres did pass Rossi up before so maybe the preference is Boldy.
