With Chicago reportedly willing to move Dach, there's no chance Buffalo makes a deal for Eichel without Dach as the starter piece.

Idk why every Hawks fan on here seems to think that a bunch of middle of the road players/prospects would get an Eichel deal done. It's not close.

Has lindell been that bad? It seems Dallas fans want to get rid of him pretty readily.

He hasn't been bad, but he is overpaid pretty significantly and his NMC kicks in next season. I'm a proponent of getting good value for him now instead of being locked into nearly a $6M contract for the next 4 years, especially when you see contracts like Heiskanen, Klingberg, Oettinger, Gurianov, and Robertson expiring either this offseason or next offseason.

Chicago isn't willing to move Dach at all, some random guy online wrote in an artical that the Sabres would only make a deal with them if he was included. At least that's what I saw.

From working within the hockey industry, since the report came out I've chatted with some people within Chicago's organizations and there actually is some truth to the rumours that Dach is available. Basically teams have asked about him and Bowman hasn't said he's off limits and he's listened on Dach. They're not shopping him but they're listening on him. There's some people in the Hawks organization that aren't happy with his maturity level and development and that's the main reason why he's even being listened on. I don't think that's the greatest idea since he's still only 20, but that's what I've been told from people that are close with the Hawks.

This guy is trolling a rumor. It was a random not named scout that said that's what it would take, not Chicago is WILLING to move Dach. Some people don't pay attention to the details.

Also to call Strome, Mitchell and especially Reichel middle of the road players/prospects is just ignorance.

Well yeah, if teams are calling he might as well say he'll listen just to see if they offer something crazy. That's a given for most players. It's crazy for someone to think that about his maturity level and development considering he's 20 and hasn't played very much cause of his injury.

That's the standard that young players like Dach are held to. He was seen as a future leader and now there's questions about it. So I assume Chicago is trying to sell high on him while they can before other teams find out the same information as they have

And as I said in the comment right before yours, I work in the hockey industry and have talked to people in Chicago's organization that have confirmed they're at least willing to move Dach for something substantial to help now and in the future. I'm a scout for Hockey Canada and I have connections all around the league, some within Chicago's organization that I can talk to about rumours when I hear stuff. So when I say they're at least willing to listen on him, it's not trolling. Sorry that the fan side of you can't get the business side of the game out of your head to believe you're so arrogant that only you're right and that everyone else is trolling - we all grow up sometime kid. But the reality is, Dach is at least available right now. Sorry Hawks fans.

I can categorically deny the Dach maturity claims, that much is certain, as for listening to proposals involving Dach. Its not teams looking to trade for Dach, its franchises including him in their ask for players such as Eichel for whom we have asked about.

How can you "categorically deny the Dach maturity claims"? Do you work for the Hawks? Are you close with Bowman or Dach? .. because again, I've literally talked to people in Chicago's organization that have a say in deals and they've told me they're concerned about Dach's maturity at this point. So I think that's more reliable than a fan or two's perspective on it.

It's not really a "view" or even an opinion. It came directly from Blackhawks personnel. So what do you have or know that would say different?

I didn't disclose my source. I didn't say who it was that I spoke to but it's someone in pretty high command in their organization. Guess I'll believe what I heard and you can believe what you heard.

He wouldn't inform us of his sources if they were strong sources to your point; fireable offense to be on a public forum disclosing or in the least you'd lose your sources if you were disclosed on a public forum
