Description

Part 1: to beginning of 2021-22 season
Power and Eklund drafted when Seattle takes Beniers and they go to Michigan/AHL.
2022 we add Power, Beniers, one of the big 3 from the draft, convince Tkachuk and Lindholm to re-sign even if it's short term and throw 9.5 million a year at Couturier.
Boom contender.

For the record I like Jokiharju but bringing in Drysdale and drafting Power(moves Dahlin to his natural RD) means that he gets pushed down the depth chart. I'd rather have a better PK guy like Borgen on the bottom pair consistently.

I just dont see Drysdale or Zegras included in any trades. The Ducks were pretty bad last year and have been in recent years. I dont disagree with you on the value of the trade as far as quality of players in the deal. The issue is the deal doesnt make the Ducks better. Sure adding Eichel is a real nice piece but how much better does that make them? So they dont finish 30th, they finish 25th. I think Comtois, henrique, a first, is more realistic.

So the Ducks trade for Eichel to be more competitive, but in doing so you think they trade their LW1, LD1, RD1 AND 3OA?

So the Ducks get worse now and in the future, seems like a solid trade
