I'm not high on D. Strome (neither on R. Strome), plus he's a RFA soon and will be asking for some payment. Imo he won't help your top 6 (there is better options) nor our bottom 6 (he's not a bottom 6 player). With that being said, this deal favors the Oilers by a lot. So I don't think it'll happen. But as an Oilers fan I'd take that, just to get out under Neals contract.

He would not. He was the worst defenseman in the league last year and is only getting older. Even for this package I would stay away. He’s awful and has a terrible contract

I 100% disagree with you. He’s a good player, and would give us defensive depth, and is a veteran. We need a guy like him in the playoffs.
