I am a die hard Oilers fan and want nothing more than DeBrusk to be in an Oilers uniform but the Boston trade is laughable.

Im just confused at the Kassian and DeBrusk and how they are valued the same, than don't forget you will have Klefbom next season

I just look at if Boston wants to resign hall, krejci and Carlo primarily debrusk is a RFA after next year kassian brings 3 years guaranteed. Kassian would seem to be a better fit for Cassidy line up. Probably need some addition from oil but I think it’s a good base. Kassian can be effective any oil fan knows it.

Just dont see how it makes sense for BOS. These are the options in terms of Debrusk: 1. Keep him 2. Package him with other assets for a top 4 LHD 3. Trade him in a package for an upgrade at Forward 4. Trade him for picks/prospects and use the money in Free agency to improve LHD and Bottom 6.

Not one of Kassian, Bear, or Jones falls into those categories.

Boston doesn't want Kassian, Jones or Bear lol, that's just it. The only guy EDM has that would fills a need and helps Boston win now is Nurse and I don't see EDM giving up Nurse.
