Interesting targets. I don't think nylanders is an expensive target but that trade is almost giving him away. Maybe no 4th.

I can't see Hyman leaving Toronto for that contract. If he leaves it's for more than Toronto would give him and I think they'd give him that

If Copp goes to Seattle you're not getting no return for him, And rumors out of Toronto is the Zach Hyman is seeking anywhere from 6x5.5 to 6x6 he's not signing that low. He'd just stay in Toronto for that.

Didn't think people still thought this highly of Nylander anymore

Why are we just giving Copp away? We could trade him for more and let Seattle take someone else.

Is he worth keeping (and paying) over Appleton, Stanley and Demelo IYO?

Seattle isn't getting Copp for that little and Winnipeg passes on the other deals. Copp would return more if dealt away.

I would rather let Seattle take Appleton, and then trade copp for a 2nd+ because that’s around his value in my opinion

Highly? You're basically giving nylander away for free in this scenario.

If we can keep him, he’s worth protecting of course. He is our best defensive forward and can produce. He also plays a huge leadership role and is Schiefeles roommate on road trips (might make signing schiefele to an extension in a couple of years easier).

I’m honestly willing to lose one of Stanley or appleton to expansion. Better than trading the assets reportedly needed (a first rounder) to make Seattle do what you want.

Maurice said he won’t play have all 3 of Heinola, Stanley and Samberg in the same lineup.

Why do people constantly think Stanley is worth over a million? He should and hopefully will be off to Seattle.

It's not that I think that highly of him it's that your value was SO low. As I said if you made it a straight up 3rd or perhaps two thirds j wouldn't say much.

Every organization has them: a highly rated/drafted prospect who looked great pre NHL/AHL. He's looked good at times in the NHL/AHL but hasn't put it together and is running out of time.

The skill is there so somebody will usually take the gamble they put it together for a moderate cost...but they usually don't.
