It could be, although Norlinder isn’t a lock for the NHL by any means. And Wideman would replace Guhle.

Romanov makes sense to play with Savard. Now I think the habs need an offensive RD to play with Chiarot.

Yandle signed with PHI. IMO Goligoski would had fit very well...

I think they will give a try to the youth...

Montreal did good in getting him for 3.5 million when someone else probably would've through a 5 x 8 or something at him.

I think he could have gotten at least 4x4 if he was determined. French, position of need, Cup ring, and we'd have difficulty signing anyone else. Imo he left money on the table (thankfully).

It's a steal just based on what's happening today. If he keeps up being a top 4 guy it's a good signing.

Savard is a solid physical Dman.
He had 1 bad year in CBJ. But there are a lot of reasons for that. It all just happened at the wrong time for him.

We had the cap space to sign both Savard and Foligno and we threw it all away for Sean Kuraly. Pain.
