Milano and Larsson haven't been even decent at the NHL level, at least not yet. Should be a fat no from arizona

Unless the Rangers are getting Eichel I can't see why they'd be moving Strome. The dropoff at center after Strome is steep.

Rebuilding Ducks shouldn't be acquiring a one year rental in Strome. Dvorak seems like a logical acquisition.

You think that’s a fair package?

I just saw that the Ducks were a team linked to I was just curious what people thought a trade package would look like for him

It’s just something I threw together. Not what I think. I’m hoping to get peoples thoughts on what they think it would take.

Don’t think either guy really makes sense for ANA at this stage.

Admittedly I don’t know too much about the Ducks prospect pool but the guys on here that I do recognize and know a bit about don’t seem like they’d move the needle in either trade. Larsson, Milano, Grant, Deslauriers don’t seem like interesting pieces. Quantity doesn’t equal quality.

There was some interest in Grant, but with Goodrow, Rooney and Barron breathing down their necks, there's enough competition for the 4C.

Volkov is an interesting player, but the Rangers already have two unproven kid RW's, they would look to add a more proven commodity if they pick up a RW.

Rangers already piled up a bunch of bruisers, Deslaurier doesn't do much else so he wouldn't break the lineup beyond Cap and Isle games.

No, getting an good NHLer with 4 years of term will require for a rebuilding team like Arizona. One of the better prospects has to be included. Really I don't know if there is a real fit here, since both teams are rebuilding. But certainly Ducks have the young pieces to trade if they want to go that route.

They want a 1st and a good prospect but if im ANA i wouldn't do the first. Maybe Tracey, Lacombe, and a 2nd?

I could see that and I think I personally would take it. They need someone to play to take some pressure off Zegras

If I had to guess I could see the Rangers being interested in Rackell after losing Buch.

I would say both trades are lacking. Neither NYR nor ARI would be interested in those pieces.

NYR already addressed their bottom 6, so Deslauries + Grant are unnecessary cap dumps. And Volkov + 2nd + 3rd isn't that enticing. I mena, Volkov returned a 7th last season, so not sure he has the value to snag Strome.

For ARI, the only interesting piece is Groulx. ARI isn't trading a top 6 forward for that.

I would target Dvorak over Strome for ANA. However, he will likely be more expensive.

I wouldn't overpay for him, but maybe LaCombe, Groulx, 2nd, and 3rd? That might not be enough, not really sure on Dvorak's value -- but I wouldn't want to dip too deep into the prospect pool for him either way. I definitely wouldn't trade an ANA 1st for him.

My guess is a 2nd and a decent prospect would get it done, but hard to tell.

As a rebuilding-practically-from-scratch team, Arizona has no business trading Dvorak, who should be one of their core future pieces. And unless we had some way in advance to know that our 2022 first-round pick would be between 11 and 16, we have no business trading it, which is what a sane Arizona GM would require.
