Why would Vegas give up their best prospect for a replacement level dman and a couple of meh prospects that likely don’t reach the nhl?

Rittich isn’t getting a first rounder back and Tampa doesn’t need / can’t afford him anyways.

That TB move is horrendous for them Julien Briesbois doesn't even consider that trade.
Their back up is fine and Vasilevskiy plays 60 games anyway. They don't have the cap space and Rittich doesn't come close to getting a 1

TB has a solid backup goalie that is 350,000 less expensive. If you look at TB cap space it is $8000. Why we would give up a first for a backup extra that puts TB over the cap?

STL can't even sign all their RFA's without going over the cap. This isn't even slightly possible.
